Originally from Lorraine, talented Chef Michel Roth has masterfully brought the region’s generosity and kindness to his restaurant through a flavorful, generous and refined style of cuisine. He works with the finest seasonal products, selecting them with great care. His goal with Terroirs de Lorraine? To create a warm, inviting atmosphere where everyone can enjoy a fine-dining experience.

THE METZ TRAIN STATION,
AN EXTRAORDINARY SETTING

The Metz Train Station, named France’s most beautiful train station in 2017 and listed as a historical monument in 1975, is now home to Chef Michel Roth’s restaurant where travelers can admire the artistic adornments of woodworking and painted friezes. The historical symbolism runs deep through the structure, emphasized by myriad sculpted details and stained glass windows portraying Emperor Charlemagne, representation of of the local Carolingian dynasty.

The TERROIRS DE LORRAINE team is there all day to take you on a rich and authentic culinary journey with a selection of revisited regional dishes. All year long, the restaurant is available for catered events to celebrate any occasion. The terrace at the entrance of one of France’s most beautiful train stations welcomes diners through all the seasons.
